Our rooms are very spacious for the children to explore and move around freely to explore different areas.  We have a Curiosity Corner for children to explore and discover new things and textures.   We have a Writing Workshop table, and a Maths Area.  We have Role-play which is changed every week, allowing children that may not be in every day, the chance to use their imaginations!   The children are encouraged to self-care, which may be washing their hands, going to the toilet or helping themselves to water and healthy snacks.  The children are able to self-select toys and activities that they would like and staff are able to extend that interest.  Staff do plan a ‘Focus activity’ every day which is aimed at meeting and enhancing your child’s Next Steps.  Each child is differentiated for, so it meets all capabilities, and extends where necessary to meet Early Learning Goals and developmental stages.
